Cruising on Older4me is a site designed for gay adult contact both for mature and younger people. Our mission is to allow people to contact each other in a safe and friendly environment, be able to send and receive messages, check updated photos galleries, and much more.

  • Is this a free site?
Yes, the usage of the site is completely free, however keep in mind that as a premium user you will get a lot more benefits and possibilities.
  • Can I contact Premium members if I have a free account?
Yes! If you have a free account, you can send 3 messages a day. Keep in mind that as a Premium user you will have unlimited contact capabilities, among many other advantages. For more information check “Premium users” information or click here.  
  • How can I find new members?
When you look for profiles, go to our Advanced Search option, go to “Order by” and choose the recently created option.  
  • Can I change my user name?
No; you can change many features from your profile except your Username. If you dislike your User name you can create a new one for free. Keep in mind that if you are a premium user and you would like to keep all the premium advantages, you will need to make the new user premium as well.  
  • How can I change my email address?
Once you’re logged in go to My Profile, and in the “email address” bar enter your new email address. After that, Scroll down and press “update profile”. You will receive a new verification email in the new entered email address; just follow the same steps as when you first logged in. When you enter a new email address you will need to re activate your account, but you will not lose any information in your profile or any picture.  
  • How can I find profiles in my area?
In our Advance Search option you can browse profiles by Country and City. Go to Advanced Search and select the country and area you’d like the system to check. “e.g.: Country: United States, State: New York” and the system will show you all the profiles in that area. Tip: As a Premium user you can determine restrictions to what contacts you want to receive messages from, E.G.: I want to be contacted just from New York users, etc.  
  • Can I publish my email/MSN/AIM address?
You might publish personal information, but please consider that your profile can be viewed by anyone, so you can be potentially contacted by people you may not want to meet. You can also go to My Profile and un-check the Profile Active option. Thus your profile can only viewed by your Favorite profiles.  
  • I won’t login for a while; can I put my profile off?
That wouldn’t be necessary. If you’ll be out for a while and don’t want anyone else to view your profile you can simply go to My Profile and uncheck the Profile Active option.
  • I don’t remember my user name and password, can you help me?
  1. Go to our Lost Password retrieval system, on the main login area, click on the forgot your password? link.
  2. Enter the Email address that you used when you signed up in the Email box, complete the Security Code box with the code displayed on screen, and then press the "retrieve password” button. Your will receive your password in the E-mail account that you entered.
  3.  If  the previous option did not work, try with a different Email adress that you may have used to sign up, and press the Retrieve Password button.
  4. If you entered your Email address and still were not able to recover your Username/password, go to our contact us site and send us a ticket. Keep in mind that the first time you use the ticket system you will need to register. Registration is free.Once you activate your support account, click on the "submit a ticket" option, over there you will be able to explain us your problem.   • How many profiles can I contact per day?

If you have a free account you can contact up to 3 profiles per day. If you want to contact unlimited profiles and enjoy other benefits you need to get a Premium Account.

  • Can anyone view my profile?

Yes. If you just want to be viewed by your Favorite contacts just go to My Profile, scroll down to the bottom of the site, and uncheck the Profile Active option.

  • What’s the difference between an active profile and an inactive profile?
As an active profile everyone can see your profile and contact you. If you uncheck the “active profile” option on your Profile’s options, you will be able to still watch other user’s profile and contact other users, however they will only be able to watch your profile if you’ve sent them a message first, or added them to your favorites.
  • Is cruising for anyone? Or just for daddies?

Cruising is oriented to anyone who wants to contact gay older and younger men. You need to be 18+ years old of age to create your profile. Profiles containing minor’s information and/or pictures, or any other violation to our terms of service and/or 2257 compliance will be permanently removed and their IP’S will be blocked.

  • I have a Mac will I be able to use the site?
Yes, the site is designed to be work perfectly both for Mac and PC users.  
  • I wrote to many profiles and receive no responses; what’s going on?

Check that you are available to be viewed by others; also it would helpful to have a complete profile with pictures about yourself and a good description, if you add more information, it will be better for the other users.

 

  • What kind of photos can I upload?
On the general gallery we recommend placing pictures where other members can see you, preferably pictures that do not display nudity or sexual content, on the private galleries you can place pictures with nudity or sexual content, as long as they are in compliance with our Terms of service and the 2257 compliance.   • Why can't I contact another member?
Premium users have the possibility to Block other users, or to determine certain parameters about what users they want to be contacted from, parameters such as age, location, etc, if the user didn’t reply or you can’t contact him, just try with another user.  
  • If I enter my Email address on your site will I get spam?
Absolutely not, we will not send you annoying spam or share your email information with others, however keep in mind that if you let other users get your email address the usage they give to your address is beyond our reach and we do not take any responsibilities for this.  
  • Is this site secure? Will you share my personal information with others?
Cruising.older4me.com will not share any personal information with others, and will not use any information entered strictly for our site. You can read more about this in our PRIVACY POLICY  
  • The site is running too slow, what’s going on?
Check your connection status, DSL or higher connection are recommended for best viewing our site, also please check the cookies status on your browser. For more information check the browser settings section in the technical questions FAQ.  
  •  I am an escort; can I use your site to contact others?
Yes, but please state that you are an escort on your profile so other users are aware about this, and can contact you as such.  
  • How do I create a profile?
Creating a Profile is very simple, in our main screen just go to “create new account?” and fill out all the information there requested, next check your Email address you should have a confirmation Email to activate your account, just follow the instructions that are sent on that email.  If you have any questions, go to our contact us site and send us a ticket, keep in mind that the first time you use the ticket system you will need to register.   • How to report if somebody is not polite or flaming other users?
As a premium user you can block users that show disrespectful behavior, however if you suspect that a user is being aggressive or not polite to other users you can report this in our contact us site by sending us a ticket, keep in mind that the first time you use the ticket system you will need to register. Registration is free.Once you activate your support account, click on the "submit a ticket" option, over there you will be able to explain us your problem. If you cannot send us a ticket, send us an Email to support@cruising.older4me.com and tell us about the specific inconvenience you witnessed with as much details as possible.
 
  • How long can I keep my received messages?
All messages will be erased after 30 days you sent or received them.  
  • How do I upload a picture to my profile?
  • Log in to cruising with your user name and password.
  • Go to My Profile
  • The main Picture of your profile can be changed from your profile, just scroll down to “profile picture” , click browse and select the picture you would like to upload, then click “add picture”. It may take from a couple of seconds to a few minutes, depending your connection speed and the file size.
  •  In your profile, scroll down to “Manage your gallery and private pictures” or click on the MY GALLERY tab on the upper side of the screen.
  • You have 2 different picture upload options, Gallery Pictures are the pictures only Premium Users will be able to watch, and Private pictures are the pictures you can attach these pictures to private messages you send to all users.
  • Click on “browse” and select the picture you want to upload from your computer’s folder.
  • Once you selected the picture you want to upload, click “add picture”. It may take from a couple of seconds to a few minutes, depending your connection speed and the file size.
    • How do I delete or update my gallery pictures?
  • If you want to delete a picture just click on the MY GALLERY tab on the upper side of the screen and click on “erase” on the picture you want to delete. To update the picture simply upload a new one.

    Even if you own a membership, to access Cruising you need to sign up again since cruising is a different site, however, since you have a membership you will get all the Premium Features in your Cruising account.

    To start a Cruising account, just go to this link: http://cruising.older4me.com/profile.php this will also be your profile information at cruising.

    Once you have created your Profile at Cruising, you need to link your Cruising account with your Membership account. You must only perform this action once.

    To do so, first login to your Cruising account:

    After these steps your cruising account will be a Premium Account.

    To become a premium member, you need to manually link your Cruising account with your Membership account. You must only perform this action once.

    To do so, first login to your Cruising account:

    • I can’t watch someone else’s picture, what can I do?

    You need to be sure that you have the proper browser in your PC. We recommend you to use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari. AOL BROWSER MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS SITE.

    • I didn’t receive the confirmation mail. What can I do?
    Some anti spam features from the different email services may prevent our emails from reaching your inbox, in order to confirm your profile you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Add our email address to your safe list (if you don't know how to do this, you can learn more about this clicking here)
    2. Go to this link, and complete the fields with your Username, Password, and Email address, exactly as you did when you signed up, and press the "Resend Confirmation Email" button.
    3. Check if you received our confirmation email in your Email Address. If you still didn't get a confirmation you can try going back to the resend confirmation email link and complete your username, your password and a different Email address.
    4. If you still don’t get any confirmation, go to our contact us site and send us a ticket, keep in mind that the first time you use the ticket system you will need to register. Registration is free.Once you activate your support account, click on the "submit a ticket" option, over there you will be able to explain us your problem.     • How to add a name to your email programs safe list.

    MSN/HOTMAIL:
    1. Click “Options”
    2. Click “Safe List”
    3. Add the address customers@cruising.older4me.com to your Safe List
    4. Click OK
    YAHOO: You should create a filter to automatically send email from daddylive.com domain to your Inbox. This is the only way to really ensure delivery.
    1. Select “Mail Options” in the top right navigation bar
    2. Choose “filters” located on the left side of the page under the “Spam” column
    3. Click the “Add” button on the Filters page
    4. Choose the field you want to match in the incoming message. For example, “From header”.
    5. Choose the criterion by which you want a match to be made, such as “contains”
    6. Enter the text string to compare: @cruising.older4me.com
    7. Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered. For example: Inbox
      AOL:
    1. Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
    2. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name.
      For AOL version 7.0: In the section for "exclusion and inclusion parameters", include this domain: @cruising.older4me.com
    3. For AOL version 8.0: Select Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains.
      Click Next until the Save button shows up at the bottom. Click Save.

    1. Right click (control-click) on the message in your inbox.
    2. Select the option “Add to Address Book”
     EUDORA:
    1. Select/Highlight message
    2. Under the “Special” menu, choose “Make Address Book Entry”
     NETZERO/JUNO:
    1. Click on the “Options” button within the email on the web
    2. From there, click on the “Safe Lists” link
    3. Safe List screen will appear and display your current Safe List
     EARTHLINK:
    1. On the “Email” screen, click on the spam Blocker plus sign so all it’s folders are shown
    2. Click on the Suspect Email folder
    3. Check the box next to the sender you wish to receive email from
    4. Click on the button to “Add to Address Book & Forward to Inbox”
    5. Subsequent messages will now go to your Inbox
     NETSCAPE MAIL:
    1. Open the Email
    2. Go to the email window’s “File” menu and select “Add to Address Book”
    • I’m an AOL customer and I can’t visualize or access some sections of this site.

    All users, both free and Premium can upload up to 9 pictures:

    1 Picture as the main profile picture (we recommend a general picture that does not display nudity since this will be the main picture that will represent you)   4 Pictures in your Gallery section: These pictures can only be seen by premium users.   4 Pictures in your Private Gallery: These pictures can be attached to your messages and will only be seen by the user that gets your message.  
    • Which format should the pictures I upload be?
    Pictures format accepted can be GIF, JPG or PNG. It should not be heavier than 512 kb.  
    • My pictures look different after I upload them, why?
    Max picture size is (w) 640 px and (h) 640 px, the system will automatically resize them For the best view on that size, pictures that are too small or too large may look different in the galleries. Also please be cognizant that when you watch the thumbnails of the pictures they may look too little and some parts of them may not be visible, however this is just a preview and if you enlarge it, it will look complete and normal.  
    • Browser settings
      First, clean your internet cache: If you are using IE browser go to tools-internet options- and delete your cookies and you temporary internet files.   Enable your cookies by following these steps in your Internet Explorer:    1. Go in the tools menu
     2. Select Internet options...
     3. Select the "privacy" tab
     4. Move the slider down until it reads, "Accept all Cookies"
     5. Click on “Apply" button
     6. Click "OK" button  
    • Can i delete my profile?
    Yes, you can delete your profile anytime, just login to your account, and click here.  
    •  I'm getting a "Click here to activate this control" bar when i try to navigate your site, what should i do?
